France Olympic
In 2014, in response to a directive from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) mandating that national committees incorporate a symbol alongside their existing typographic logos, the French Olympic Committee needed to establish a new visual identity. Sull's task was to create a fresh logo that would represent the highest sporting authority in France and project a distinctive French image internationally. Drawing inspiration from the committee's historical use of the rooster emblem, the final design is both institutional and timeless. It embodies French excellence and elegance, with a monoline style inspired by Picasso, evoking a sense of movement, akin to figure skaters on ice, rhythmic gymnastics ribbons, or the wake of a dinghy during a regatta.
